This issue occurs because 2-Step Verification was not enabled within the allotted time. Please note that enabling 2-Step Verification is a required step to fully access your UP Mail account and is part of the University's security policy. As such, this requirement cannot be disabled for accounts within the UP Mail domain.
Upon activation of your UP Alumni Mail account, a one-week grace period is provided to set up 2-Step Verification. If it is not enabled within this period, access to the account may be restricted, resulting in the error you are encountering.
To proceed, kindly create a new support ticket and attach your UP Alumni ID or any valid government-issued ID for verification purposes. Once received, we will be happy to assist you further.
